- Keith Lazuka. Doing Photography and Social Research in the Allied Occupation of Japan, 1948-1951: A Personal and Professional Memoir: http://www.lib.ohio-state.edu/rarweb/japan/index.html.
Reviewer comments: Dynamic and colorful site that meets MWAS standards. Good example of a highly accessible image-based site that does not use Flash, but still looks intriguing and interesting. Uses a lot of pictures – but all tagged with thoughtful information. Includes clear navigation, good contrast of colors through style sheets, and maintains a distinct design.
- John Tully, Goldberg Program. Department of History: http://history.osu.edu.
Reviewer comments: Good example of a site moving toward accessibility. Designer re-organized and redesigned the site recently, enhancing accessibility by removing "pull down" menus, and conforming to many other details to the university's accessibility standards. The site loads quickly and works beautifully on multiple platforms and browsers -- Mac OS and Windows, Explorer, Opera and Safari. Also includes a clear statement regarding accessibility.
- Web Design Team (represented at the ceremony by Greg Nagy and Josh Coldwell). NCCTE (National Center for Career and Technical Education), National Dissemination Center: http://www.nccte.org/index.aspx
Reviewer comments: As a site dedicated to the dissemination of information, it is clear the National Research and Dissemination Centers for Career and Technical Education puts accessibility at the forefront. This page includes a variety of multimedia and alternate format content (videos and PowerPoint) all developed with accessibility in mind; uses a style sheet for formatting to insure site transforms gracefully when styles are turned-off; and includes text menus and options to turn menus off for easier printing and simpler page navigation.

- Web Design Team (Glenn Donaldson, Rich Graham, Carol Larrimer, and Peter McMeen). OSU Buckeye Link (Student Services): http://buckeyelink.osu.edu/.
Reviewer comments: Impressive collection of student services -- covering online registration, grades and advising, as well as financial services -- all powered by simple, clean design and fully accessible input and output.
- David Sugar. OSU Graduate School: http://gradsch.osu.edu/.
Reviewer comments: Simple, three-column design offers easy-to-access information through clear menus and accessible search form, as well as please stylistic design. The review committee was particularly impressed with how much this site had been improved from an originally inaccessible flash-based design to incorporate both quality design with universal access.
- Robyn Ness . Ohio Watershed Network: http://evolution.ag.ohio-state.edu/%7Eown/.
Reviewer comments: Lots of information conveyed with clear, yet stylish design. Of particular note: the array of photo galleries that include lots of descriptive text, so all users can appreciate the events they document. Also noted: flexible, fluid layout with scalable text and menus.
